Women and Hair Loss

I have been losing my hair since my early twenties, and it is considered to be male patterned baldness. How horrible is that? It is the most embarrassing thing ever! But, as I have researched things I can do, I learned how important it is to know the underlying cause of the hair loss and to try and reverse it before it is too late.  Here are some of the reasons why women can lose their hair: hereditary, hormonal imbalance (like thyroid problems and a simple pill every day can be taken to reverse the hair loss), stress, pregnancy, medications, diets and aging.  I also learned that hair products can be the cause for my hair loss.  Some of these products have different kinds of chemicals that actually cause hair loss! So, to avoid that problem, use high quality hair products that will insure the healthy, more natural ingredients which can help the healthiness of your hair and also restore some that has been lost.  I have tried some products (shampoos and conditioners) that are specifically for hair restoration, and I have gone to the doctor to see if I have a hormonal imbalance, but still nothing. So, I am still on the hunt to find my cause for my hair loss so I can get it reversed and not be bald by the time I’m 50!
